“But You’re So Tiny! Why do you Need That?”
I hear this all the time…about eating something healthy, about drinking something that is not a soda, about working out, or about turning something down that I just don’t want to eat or drink…
Now, my question is where has our society gone that people think because someone is “tiny” or “skinny” or “little” or all of the other synonyms for skinny or small that the person shouldn’t care for his or her healthy lifestyle choices?
Yes, I get that the focus is usually on the fact that many people don’t eat these things because they are trying to lose weight, but what about just being fit and healthy?
I did lose weight…I lost a lot of weight. I did it in the most healthy manner I knew how at the time. I am continuing to impact my body by developing better eating habits and routines. My mind is there, and my body is beginning to follow. While I am “tiny,” I am not totally where I “want to be;” however, I am happy with where I am and the idea of continuing to go where I want to go! It is a lifestyle…not a diet or just “watching my weight.” It is conscious healthy living and growth. I achieve it every day in many ways…and I would love to be able to bring it to others as well.
So…why do I need that? I need it because it helps me grow. It makes a positive impact on my health and knowledge. It can hopefully make an impact on the planet and those around me! I need it because it is so right for me…and I bet it could be right for many more too!
What say you?
Have a healthy day!

LOVE LOVE LOVE what you’re doing here! Elana’s Pantry is a fabulous resource! Stevia is awesome! The smoothie sounds super yum! FYI, went to the new Sprouts that opened up by the house the other day- I was impressed by some of the prices, loved the variety, and was thrilled at some of the choices I saw there. So, if you haven’t been to a Sprouts, I highly recommend it (esp. for those that are GF/CF, and/or Vegan. =)
Love ya, toots! Lookin good! =D
We have a Sprouts not too far from our house too…but I have not had a chance to get there. There is also a place literally down the street from my house called Ann’s and it is great! I am definitely going to check out Sprouts when I get a chance!
